One Week

Mom, one week from today is Christmas Day. That is what Willie said to me tonight. He is so excited! He said for break all he was going to do is play with his gifts! He helped out a girl today who did not have much for her lunch by sharing one of his snack bags with her. He said it felt good to do a good deed.

Mitchel is bowling at boy scouts tonight. He earned a BB gun for selling popcorn and they will not give it to him unless one of his parents are there. He got to go snowboarding for the first time on Sunday and is still feeling the aftermath on his butt today.

This is a hard week in school for all the kids. Mitchel called it having the "Friday" mentality all week. I think work is hard this week for us too. But I think we are having the oh-my-gosh-its-xmas-eve do-i-have-it-all-ready mentality or frustration as it may be. I no longer get that stressed because I noticed it always comes around and I always have gifts. Except for the night I had to go to Nana's after midnight because I forgot Mitchel's biggest present in her closet!!

I am down to 2 more projects that have to be done before Christmas. I hope to have everything completed by Friday to breathe a sign of relief.
