Flunking Math
Mitchel came home with a midterm report that he was getting an F. At parent teacher conferences he had brought his grade up to a D by handing in homework on time. Today his grade is a D+. I know that he got 92% on one test.
Yesterday he brought home a letter for potential Most Advanced Mathematicians. Apparently he has scored above the 95 percentile in ITBS Math and MAP! But he needs to take a CogAT test. The reason for the letter was to administer that test. Then he would take an 8th grade ITBS test after that.
Hmmm, that is weird. Flunking math one day, D+ the next, and potential Gifted and Talented student the next.
I just cannot wait to see what high school will bring!
