Gays Mills

We went to Gays Mills, Wi applefest on Sunday. What a beatiful day. The trees are just starting to turn. So wait 2 weeks before you go. Took Grandma and Papa along with us. They watched the kids for us Saturday night overnight since we were going to be late. Mitchel found a place where you can fill your own bag with all the different kinds of apples you want from their "seconds" bins. They were beautiful apples that might have a mark on them. Rons car smelled delicious after the day was through. There were carmel apples, apple slushes the boys had and a parade down main street including lots of horses. We even found an organic food coop in a town of 650 people. Amazing!!

  • Sorry we couldn't go with you! We didn't even leave the cabin until 2 on Sunday, and then we spent some much needed time on the deck.

  • Great pic! In fact, this is the same pic that will be appearing in Platteville's community paper someday very soon. :)
