Celebrations

We videotaped and took photos at a 10 minute cermony in a rural church in Wisconsin on Saturday morning. There was a bride, groom, officiant, Ron, I and the couple that owns the chapel. Thats it. Very relaxed and no pressure for us. We were there 45 minutes and we were done. Wish they were all that easy!
Came back home and tried the new Joey's seafood. Nice place. I am picky about restaurants. It was good but not too exciting for me.
Third Saturday in November is Noveau weekend, which is new wine weekend. The photo is from Park Farm Winery(click to view a larger photo). Andy Wilberding is playing the guitar and yes this is posed picture. One Hat Band was finishing up upon our arrival. The kids hung out around a fire pit outside with Kyron - Mike and Pearl Breitbachs son - they are the one hat band. The boys wanted to go to a movie together. In the end, we took Kyron home and kept him overnight to give his parents a much needed break and some alone time. We went to Hyvee and made a great supper.
Boys all hung out this am and we made fresh juice and waffles. This afternoon Pearl took the boys to see the movie Happy Feet and they just got home. Ron and I went to Taiko and had a private dinner of sushi in the middle of the afternoon - there was no one else there.
Working on laundry, dishes, putting away Halloween stuff, and organizing clothes to be donated filled the rest of my day and yesterday.

I really envy how you get out and enjoy what your area has to offer. It's so hard to do anything with two young kids that you have to watch constantly. Perhaps when they get older, and Jerry is less busy, we can get out more........
