First Wedding Photo shoot

Ok, this was my first official wedding photo shoot. I do not normally shoot photos. Hand in hand Ron and I shot this formal wedding in an informal setting - 180 Main. The theme was Deal or no Deal - see verbage of invite below.

Brad and Libby - Deal or No Deal Wedding


On April Fools Day we sent an email inviting everyone to a birthday party on April 18th and announced “Brad Parks is getting married” (see below)

It is not only TRUE – The Wedding is that night!!!

That’s right, on Friday April 18th we are getting married. If you are shaking your head right now you are not alone. We am pretty sure our Mom’s needed oxygen when they heard it. We figured everyone would think we are fools anyway so why not just announce it on April Fools Day.

We are calling it the Deal of No Deal Wedding (see attachment invitation) as we told Libby’s son Ben (age 8) that we couldn’t get married unless Libby’s Dad said it was ok. It appears Ben couldn’t wait and he jumped up at dinner a few weeks ago, slapped the table, and said in his best Howie Mandel impression, “Grandpa, Can brad Mary Mom or what – Deal or no Deal”. Well, Grandpa said “Deal” so here we all are.

So for all of you who have asked if it is true the answers are:

YES we are getting married on the spur of the moment.
NO, we are not pregnant, just happy and want to get our life moving ahead.
Yes, after how much everyone getting this has helped our lives become more than we could have ever possibly imagined we would love to have you join us to share in our happiness.
(Brad Insert - Yes, Libby and her children Bridget and Ben are far cooler than I am and I marrying way out of my league and so is Bryce in September)
Yes, we are so excited we are ready to pass out.

So after work on the 18th if you are looking for some excitement as well, come to 180 Main at 5:30 for free beer and wine and snacks and a really cool cake and stay for Betty and the Headlights and the Plush Rhino Band downstairs at the Busted Lift.

And while you are there we’ll take a few minutes at 6 and have a wedding.

And don’t worry about gifts. You have all given us more in your friendship and help with our crazy community causes than we could ever repay anyway so just show up and have fun.
