Lucy

I affectionately call her Lucy. My momma mallard. Not sure if she is with us to stay. But I have enjoyed her every morning hanging out by the pond. Sometimes we see the male, sometimes not. For years they have nested at the front of the house that sits directly behind me. They go behind their bushes. But I have water! A pond with scum. Sounds sick to us, but great for a duck. I open the blinds in the front room reeeallly sssslllooowww. I open the front door slow and move slow to grab the paper in the morning. Strange how it is fun to watch a duck that just sits there.

Had Grandma and Papa over for dinner tonight. Both kids helped cleaning up the house over the weekend and Willie did a great job cleaning up after the meal - *****without me even asking. Yeah! They are watching Walk the Line right now on our new 37" LCD big screen. I cleaned up a bit and decided to write this before joinin us.

Got a call from sis Cindy on the way into the grocery store. What a pleasant surprise. My cell hardly rings. Like I have no friends!!! Was in the 50's today, breath of spring. Took Ron and the boys to Target and Best Buy. It takes so long to shop with them.....
