Exhausted
Whew that was a big weekend. Friday night we went to a Grand Opening for Exhale Day Spa(yes I need to be there right now)on lower Main Street. Katie and her group of lovely ladies do facials, pedicure and manicures and massages. It is located right next to Essentials which is where the boys and I get our haircut.
Then down to the Dubuque Museum of Art to the book opening of Art and Ethos - a collection of local art, oral histories about Dubuque and the life on the Mississippi. Pictured here is Mindy Stiles and the wonder plate of food I grabbed there.

Then we listened to a bit of music at Dubuquefest.
Saturday prepped for and videotaped a wedding and reception. We got home about 9:30 from that.
Sunday off to help out at the Dubuque Arboretum's Spring Party. My whole family helped out. Willie is the cutest little clown! Mitchel braved hundreds of kids and helped them play a game - flying monkeys. Our theme was Wizard of Oz. Ron most graciously took photos of the event - see them here
Came home and put in garden, cleaned out the pond and then off AGAIN! This time to Park Farm Winery to see Mike and Amy Finders play some music. It was a bit cool and breezy so they had the flaps down on a very large tent. Our first time to see music there. Wow. Big tent, nice tables and chairs and you can bring your own picnic lunch. Only cavet is that I like dry wine. So it was $18 for a bottle and $3 to pop the cork. We already had paid $5 admittance which got you a glass of wine, so we could use the same glasses.
Then up on Monday and went to a field trip to Union Park with Willie's class. I went up and down the hill into the valley of Y camp 3 times! Way too much walking and standing all weekend long.
I want a nap.
