Sunshine!

Finally warming up here and melting the snow piles. I have gotten outside to exercise lately. Boy is that nice.

Mitchel had a boy scout breakfast on Sunday. He made things for the bakesale on Saturday and held the door most of 3 hours on Sunday. Ron washed dishes for 3 hours helping them out Sunday too.

Friday we went to the open house of 365 offices in downtown Dubuque. Took the kids and they had a blast with 2 other children there. Thursday got my hair dyed. Asked for her to match the depth and ash color of my original color. Well, not exactly that. I call it Harley Davidson black. I look like my niece Heather. Who, by the way, has beautiful dark naturally curly hair. I am getting used to it. The kids hate it.

Just working on getting caught up around here, exercising and eating right.

Sunshine and March makes me think of this Irish Blessing in honor of St. Pats day. Everyone is Irish on St. Pattys day, so have a pint.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

  • Your Joan Jett hair color was not enuf to keep me from strolling with you this past weekend. Thanks for keeping me "straight." :)
