Seems like the same ol shit different day. Who came up with that saying anyway.
Sayings.
Mitchel was sad on Monday with a long face in the back of the car. I looked at him and remembered what my dad used to say. "Better days are comin" Funny I must have been sad alot cause I remember him saying that quite a bit.
Backwards. Thursday night Ron and I videotaped a local hypnotist. Ron went to Walton, IA on Friday night to do the same thing. Sat we watched my friends kids for an hour and I had a meeting with a web client. Ron went to a full day seminar by the president of the Weston Price foundation. Health food folks. This lady loves fat and enzimes and things cholesterol of 350 is when you should act. Ron has a saying from Bruce Lee, take what is useful and leave what is useless. He came back and took me to a winter farmers market at 4:30. Back home for a snack like supper.
Boys went to Angelas to spend the night. This was a big deal. Willies first overnight without me. He called but when I got his message he was fast asleep. She took all 4 boys(she has 2) to church and they were all chatty and bad the next day. Tisk tisk.
We went to see Mike and Amy Finders at Isabellas, my fav no smoking bar. We then went for a walk to Gin Rickeys which I thought was close and it ended up being several blocks. We settled on a friggin huge breakfast about 1:15 at some little spot nearby. I had to take my check and hand it to the waitress cause I thought if I did not, she would not get paid. Socialogy late night 101 class for ya. Interesting mix of folks both serving and being served. Whew.
Could not sleep and up at 7:30am. Cleaned up snow. Mitchel knows how to use the snowblower.
Had some new friends over for a prime rib dinner. For family, yes we finally used it up. AND, it was fully cooked already. We could have sliced and george formaned it for Wils b-day. My new friends are 28 and 50 something as a couple. I said I do not judge and I do not gossip so all I can say is I loved both of their attention and conversations. It was great.
Worked Monday. Had a cable meeting and spent 65, 000 dollars, fun!
Today worked out for a while and videotaped at a public school. Wonderful to go into a public school. It is very different. This was an amazing teacher to boot. There were two wireless mic systems in the class. One for the class the other for a hearing impaired child. I was impressed with the body language and the ability to take direction from an outside source. I was there to tape someone else coming in to teach their class one lesson. More on that late maybe.
Cat. Saw our wild cat sauntering through the snow on Sunday. Now I figure I know that it is for sure a wild cat. Beautiful none the less and remember I do not care for cats. It is large and long hair was clumped with snow as it walked through 4-5 inches of snow.
Boys are stamping on the floor for me to tuck in. Gotta run as always.
