Skating

If y'all have not noticed, we are not the best at sports in this house. Last night was Willie's school skate party. Mitchel and I promised to help Willie learn how to skate. He does great on the carpet and can get up and down the one stair there. But, he refuses to try out on the floor. It took me 2 hours to get him to go around TWICE!!! But he did it. Holding onto the wall and me the whole way. He would not skate with Mitchel.

Mitchel is getting very coordinated! I was so proud that he uses inline skates now and was trying to skate backward last night. Impressive for what I coin my uncoordinated kid. Willie is much more graceful but lacks confidence.

I got a bit of exercise, but most of my time was standing on my skates trying to get Willie to go out. Then they would turn off the lights or have a special skate that we did not qualify for.

I told him next time he will really get it!
