Happy Memorial Day

Today and yesterday were beautiful days! Mitchel invited family over for an impromptu dinner. I spent all day in the kitchen cleaning things up just to mess them up again. Today cleaned up the kitchen and floor. I got up at 5am to let the dogs out and then Simba got sick from all the stuff he stole from the table. Katie, thanks for the heads up. I am mad at him because he ate a whole portabella stuffed mushroom - it was probably 7-8 inches across!!!

We went to the Memorial day parade(photos on digitaldubuque.com soon) and then stayed at Washington park for part of the veterans festivities. Stopped at the gravesites to add flowers and flags. Went to Sams club to grab some steaks and veggies for the grill. Had a great supper and went to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range. Thanks to Jeff and Pam for walking up and saying hi.

This is a quiet week for appointments. Seven more school days. Whohoo! Hope everyone had a great weekend.
