Halloween Weekend

Friday night was trick or treat. It was a bit strange as the daylight savings time gave us some sunshine when it first started. We had over 200 kids stop here. Of course we decorated, I was in costume and we had music and screams playing.

Saturday morning was the start of the winter indoor farmers market
Great new location at the Colts center just behind where it was last year. Check it out 9-12 Saturdays.

Finally made it to the Galena Parade on Saturday night. Never been there and it is one of the largest parades in Illinois! OMG after standing and watching it for over an hour, Willie and I had to go in to a store for a break. It is almost 1.5 hours long! If you have small children do let go of them as the floats and vehicles are within inches of running over their toes!

MItchel went on a Sierra club camp out all day and overnight on Saturday.

I got all the Halloween stuff taken down. My flowers pulled out in the front. Ron worked on cleaning up the garden. All ready for winter here. It is supposed to be record warm here the next couple of days - 74-76 today!
Indian Summer?
